Tire shop software splits in two: systems built for tire dealers, and repair-shop platforms that added a tire module. Which side you need depends on whether the tire is your product or a line on the repair order. Every feature and price below was read from the vendor’s own pages on November 3, 2026; where a vendor prints no price, the table says so. None of these companies has any relationship with this site. For general repair with little tire volume, the auto repair shop software comparison covers the wider field.

Tire dealer software: built around the tire

These three were built for businesses where the tire is the product: stock counted by size and brand, national-account and fleet billing, commercial and retread work, and the accounting behind it. Only one of the three prints a price.

TireMaster (ASA Automotive Systems)

ASA was founded in 1989 and says it serves more than 3,000 independent tire dealers, retreaders and repair shops across North America. TireMaster’s own feature list is the most tire-specific of the seven here: DOT registration, TPMS, a fitment guide, national account processing, direct ordering from parts suppliers, and a full accounting side (general ledger, receivables, payables), with a QuickBooks interface for shops that keep their books there. The product page says it runs on Windows; ASA describes its line as on-premise and cloud-based without saying which one TireMaster is, so ask before you plan the hardware. No price is published: ASA offers a meeting and an ROI calculator instead.

MaddenCo

MaddenCo builds for independent tire dealers and truck stop service centers, with retail, wholesale, commercial and retreading systems tied into its own payables and general ledger. The commercial side is the reason to look: national account interfaces to Bridgestone, Continental/General, Firestone, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin and Yokohama, and an emergency road service call center for dispatching trucks. Inventory runs at one location or across several, with bar-code scanning for physical counts. If most of your tickets are passenger tires sold at the counter, much of this is weight you carry for nothing; if you bill fleets on national accounts, it is the job. No price is published.

Tire Guru

Tire Guru is the one tire-first system with a public price sheet, in two lines: tire shop packages from Lite at $279/mo, and tire-and-repair packages from Core Repair at $599/mo. Read the Lite plan closely. It carries the tire and wheel catalog, integrated payments and inspections, but inventory management, full accounting and electronic DOT registration start at Core, $399/mo. The Pro tiers add a Tire Price Optimizer that shows real-time tire prices in your local market and ranks yours against competitors’. Transaction fees apply to its payments; the pricing page does not say how much.

Repair shop platforms with a tire module

When tires are a line on a repair ticket rather than the whole business, a general shop platform with tire features is usually the better fit: the repair order, labor guide and inspections are where these are strongest. All four publish list prices.

Tekmetric with Tire Suite

Tire Suite is a published add-on, +$39/mo per shop on top of a plan subscription for each location, so the way in is $238/mo (Start is $199/mo, or $179/mo billed annually, with unlimited users). Tekmetric’s page says it quotes tires from the repair order with fitment matched from the VIN, shows several tire options side by side in a customer-facing view, registers DOT numbers with the tire makers automatically and tracks tire inventory and sales. For how the base platform compares, see Tekmetric vs Shopmonkey.

AutoLeap

AutoLeap’s plan table puts tire ordering, DOT number tracking and a TireHub integration on every plan, from Essentials at $199/mo ($179/mo billed annually). Tire storage, which records where each customer’s set is racked, and Quick Tire Lookup quotes by year, make and model, VIN or size come only with Elite, $449/mo ($409/mo annually). Its tire page names ordering from Bridgestone, Goodyear and Cooper. One thing to press in the demo: AutoLeap describes capturing DOT numbers against the customer for recall lookups, with an export for enterprise registration workflows. Recording the number is not the same as sending the registration to the tire maker, which is the next section.

Shopmonkey

Shopmonkey’s tire page promises ordering tires and parts from vendors without leaving the app, and inventory tracking across locations. On its pricing page, inventory management starts at Clever, $399/mo ($359/mo annually); Basic, at $239/mo ($215/mo annually), has parts lookup and ordering but no inventory, and includes 3 user licences, each extra one $20/mo. Neither page mentions tire registration, tire storage or fitment lookup, so treat those as questions for the demo, not features.

NAPA TRACS

NAPA TRACS’s tire page describes “out the door” tire package pricing, with tire cost, mounting, balancing, disposal fees and taxes on the estimate, and five pricing levels for different buying tiers. Fitment comes from year, make and model or the VIN, or by tire size, vendor or description; tires are ordered from a list of suppliers alongside your own stock, and they are tracked separately from the rest of the work order. DOT registration is a separate extension, Tire Registration Plus, which validates the DOT code at entry, checks it against the NHTSA recall list and sends the record to the tire maker. The packages start at $109/mo for Silver, $219/mo for Gold and $249/mo for Gold Plus, but the pricing page does not say which package carries the tire features, so ask which one you are being quoted.

Tire registration: the test most demos skip

Federal rule 49 CFR 574.8 gives an independent dealer selling new tires three ways to handle registration: hand the buyer a paper registration form already filled in with the entire tire identification number of each tire and the shop’s name and address; fill in the buyer’s details too and send the form to the tire maker yourself; or send the same information electronically. The last two are at no charge to the buyer and within 30 days of the sale, and a dealer that registers electronically must say so on the invoice. Dealers controlled by a tire maker carry a different duty under the same section.

So the software has to capture the full TIN for every new tire at the counter, then either print the filled form or transmit it and put the statement on the invoice. “Tracks DOT numbers” means it stores the number; “registers” means it sends it. The same section also requires a dealer to stop selling any group of tires when a defect notice tells it to, which is where a searchable TIN history earns its keep. This is a reading of the rule, not legal advice.

Tire shop software pricing

Five of the seven print a price. Read on November 3, 2026, month to month for one shop: AutoLeap Essentials with tire ordering is $199/mo; Tekmetric with Tire Suite is $238/mo; Tire Guru’s tire shop line starts at $279/mo and reaches $399/mo once you need inventory and DOT registration; Shopmonkey with inventory is $399/mo; NAPA TRACS starts at $109/mo for Silver, though its pricing page does not say which package carries the tire features. TireMaster and MaddenCo quote per business. Software is overhead, so put the real monthly figure into fixed cost on the break-even calculator.
